The name of this exhibition in Shanghai is Bauma. And "bau" in German means "construction", and "ma" means "machinery and equipment". Putting them together forms the word "bauma" which is not the translation of "BMW" or the combination of the first letter of the five Chinese words. The name is not meaningless, instead, its meaning is very accurate and simple -- engineering machinery.
